• 1902: Wilhelm Hildebrand builds the first Wildstrubel Hut between the Weisshorn and Rohrbachstein.
  • 1908: Wilhelm Hildebrand builds the Rohrbachhaus at its current location.
  • 1915: The Rohrbachhaus and Wildstrubel Hut are gifted to the SAC Bern Section by Wilhelm Hildebrand.
  • 1927: The SAC Bern Section builds the new Wildstrubel Hut adjacent to the Rohrbachhaus. The old hut is demolished.
  • 1974/1975: The SAC Bern Section modernizes the Rohrbachhaus.
  • 2000: The SAC Kaiseregg and Wildhorn Sections take over the Wildstrubel Hut and Rohrbachhaus.
  • 2004: Work starts on an extension to the existing hut, built by the SAC Kaiseregg and Wildhorn Sections.
  • 2005: The new building is inaugurated and opens in March.
